DARWIN – New Genomic Techniques in Food Systems

To develop and validate innovative detection methods for plant-based products derived from New Genomic Techniques (NGTs), ensuring traceability and transparency in the food system. The project aims to integrate advanced DNA-based detection methods, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence to differentiate between NGT-modified and conventionally bred plants, thereby supporting informed consumer choices and compliance with EU regulations.
