Dr. Michiel De Bauw is a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven and an affiliated researcher at Sciensano. His work focuses on public policies supporting healthier and more sustainable food systems, with a particular focus on food environments, consumer behaviour, and sustainability transitions. Beyond academia, Michiel has professional experience in the private retail sector, where he worked on the implementation of a food eco-labelling initiative. In Infoodmation, Michiel will advise activities on ecolabelling linked to consumer behaviour.
